It became evident, I was craving to write. Sure I do a little writing for work here and there but nothing that speaks to my passions and interests.
I’ve applied for a few freelance writing positions. Nothing has panned out. So, I thought, do what you’re good at (writing), and do it for yourself (blogging) and maybe others will enjoy it along the way.

I love fandom and pop culture. It’s common ground. It’s where most people can meet in the middle and get to know one another. It opens doors for conversations (in person or online). It’s a form of self expression translated in the shirts and shoes we wear to the accessories we use in our daily lives.
That’s powerful and always uplifting. There have been times when I’ve found myself in a situation that seems uncomfortable and someone will come over and say something nerdy in reference to a shirt I’m wearing or a pin on my jacket. Pop culture reminds us we aren’t as alone as we may feel at times!
